The 2nd International Gender Studies in Turkey Conference took place on December 7-8 at Minerva Han. The opening speech was delivered by Ayşe Kadıoğlu, and the conference welcomed numerous academics, researchers, and civil society representatives from Turkey and abroad. During the conference, 58 papers were presented in panels covering various topics, including politics, subjectivity and resistance, migration, literature, art, sexuality, innovative research approaches, psychology, health, family, violence, and many more. The conference featured 14 sessions and 5 workshops, with a total of over 350 participants. The First International Gender Studies in Turkey Conference took place on December 9-10 at Minerva Han. The opening speech was delivered by Feride Acar, and the conference welcomed academics, researchers, and civil society professionals from Turkey and abroad. Over two days, 20 sessions featured studies on gender across various fields, including employment, ecology, technology, politics, youth, urban studies, migration, global issues, art, and law. With more than 300 participants, the conference hosted 76 different presentations.
